Purva is a playwright and a theatre producer. She has ten full length plays, three shorts, three feature films and two web series as a writer, to her credit. She has collaborated with Bake House Australia and Curve Theatre, UK, on ‘Jatinga’ and ‘The Pink Saree Revolution’. Her other plays include, ‘Ok Tata Bye Bye’, ‘Aaj Rang Hai’, ‘Preth’, ‘Bandish’ and ‘Ladies Sangeet’. She received the Bismillah Khan Award from the Government of India and in 2012, the Ladli Media award for the best play on gender sensitisation.
