Koninika Roy has a Masters in Cultural Studies from SOAS, University of London. She currently works at Godrej India Culture Lab. She previously worked at The Humsafar Trust where she sensitized stakeholders, managed advocacy projects, raised funds, organized community mobilization events and conducted research. She also tackled cases of discrimination and violence against LGBTQ persons in Mumbai and India.
She maintains her interest in working for the LGBTQ community by being part of the Managing Committee and Governing Board of the Integrated Network for Sexual Minorities (INFOSEM) which is the largest network of LGBTQ organizations in India.
