Anita is a critically acclaimed and best-selling author, whose books have been translated into over 31 languages around the world. Her novels include, ‘The Better Man’, ‘Ladies Coupé, ‘Idris: Keeper of the Light’, ‘Alphabet Soup for Lovers’ and ‘Eating Wasps’. She has also authored a crime series featuring Inspector Gowda, a collection of poems, ‘Malabar Mind’, a collection of essays, ‘Goodnight & God Bless’, six books for children and two plays. She has also translated T S Pillai’s Malayalam cult classic ‘Chemmeen’ into English. She has won the Central Sahitya Akademi Award (2013) and the Crossword Book Award (2017).
