A former Professor of Medical Law at the University of Edinburgh, Alexander has written more than 100 books. He is best known for ‘The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency’ series, set in Botswana, which has been translated into 46 languages and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
